Although it was posted more than three years ago, I would just like to advise anybody reading this to completely ignore the seller's comment as it is dangerous and can lead to death. This heater cannot be used in bathrooms, safely, using a mains plug. There is a reason why bathroom lights, fans and shaver points are "hard wired". If you put an extension lead into a bathroom and plug this heater in then you are dicing with death especially in the winter months when bathrooms tend to not disapate the moisture so easily. Although electrocution is rare in the UK, most electrocutions are bathroom related. Any electrical equipment for bathrooms must be specifically designed for that use and must be hardwired. The IEE Electrical Regulations clearly state that no sockets or extensions should be used unless they are protected by a seperate circuit breaker which is something this seller is either ignorant of or is completely ignoring to secure a sale. Any sockets or appliances that are hard wired must be no less than one metre away from the edge of zone 1 and no less than 2.6 metres from the floor, so that means this product is neither suitable or safe for most bathrooms unless it is hard wired with a Residual Current Device (RCD). The heater may be resistant to moisture but the plug is not and will be highly dangerous in a bathroom. see less

For bathroom use, any electrical product has to be specifically designed for such use. For any part of the home, you can use any mains socket but for bathrooms you must make sure it is hard wired as using an extension lead or installing a socket, in a bathroom will kill somebody. It won't be a matter of if but will be a matter of when it will happen. Bathrooms have high concentrations of moisture and sockets will become live. A steamy bathroom can easily become a live bathroom. From the seller's comments, they don't know anything about electricity or the IEE wiring Regulations that clearly state that no sockets, extension leads are allowed to be installed unless they are both outside Zone 2 and have Residual Current Device (RCD) protection. Wall sockets must be at least 3m away from zone 2 and at least 2.6m from the floor, which means most bathrooms are too small for them, even with RCD. Unless you have a bathroom as large as your lounge, everything should always be hard wired in bathrooms and well away from the regulated zones. see less
- Considering you can only set the time and not the date or day of the week how does the heater know which day it is to apply the programmation?Hello, Thanks for the question. … see more Hello, Thanks for the question. It works the same way a plug timer works, so it only needs to know there are 7 days to program, it doesn't need to know the date. It does know the day of the week. I hope this helps. Best regards, Marcus. see less
