- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 January 2019Just okayIt’s okay. The velvet is only on the outer side. The inner side fabric is cheap and a little itchy. The pillow case doesn’t have the fold bit that most pillow cases have to hide the pillow inside.

Unfortunately only downside really is that mine came with one button missing on the duvet. A button hole but no actual button but it's not too big a problem. Would recommend this bed set!

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 November 2019Double velvet duvet coverFirst it’s not crushed velvet like my one from next and still needs ironing unlike my one from next.I ordered two and have only opened one so far and it had three small marks on it two like pen marks and one which is a small bright pink dot.I recently moved house and took a while to open it until bedroom was ready for it so was too late to return them.I have ordered from this company before and never had any bother so a bit disappointed this time

It's been washed and dried once but don't think it will hold out though a few more washes. Made out of thin material and not as plush as the pictures a bit disappointed. It will do the job but if I could get to the shops I could of purchased a better quality one for the price.

I did not find this thin like others mentioned, in fact it is quite thickIts on the warm side because of the velvet and found it a bit hot , but i don't mind as its getting colder out. Will be too warm for summer though. These are very nice looking

I gave it four stars for comfort only because the duvet cover is very slippery so the duvet falls out of place, I need to straighten it out every morning. I would nightly recommend.

- Crushed velvet duvet quilt cover bedroom set. is the fabric very shiny, does it have a lot of shine, as photo, or just a slight sheen.I think it has quite a high shine to the fabric depending on the light hitting it but that is the nature of crushed velvet. If you want less shine, I would look at plain velvet.
- Does this slip of the bed?Yes it does slip off bed. Also it does tend to roll up a little inside so I do find that I have to put the two corners back in place. However, I’ve had mine for over a year and used it fair amount and because it looks great on the bed I’m happy to spend two mins each morning put the corners in place.
