- can you please tell me the height sensor from the floor as I want the light to go behind a sofa , and the depth of the floor plateBase about 7mm thick. From base to sensor about 880mm. The remote sends a radio signal so doesn’t have to point at the sensor, it can bounce off walls and go through soft furnishings.

- Is it any good as a crafting light? ThanksI am not into crafting so I am not entirely certain what you need. What I can say is that the lamp has settings that are much too bright for me to use for reading and can be altered from yellow to white light. In addition the arc of the light is plenty wide and long enough to read a newspaper in comfort.
