- Are the lampshades detachable? I want to mix and match colours!Yes they are. This is a brilliant floor light. I use the kind of bulbs that flicker as though there's a candle lit and the effect is amazing. But to answer your question yes you can remove the shades it's one of those screws shades

- Is it is dimmable or not?The light bulbs I have in are industrial retro style that aren’t dimmable so sorry I can’t answer this question correctly.
