- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 February 2020Read before buyingWhen these first arrived I thought wow what a lovely set! After a couple of uses I noticed the colour started to fade, after a few weeks the copper started peeling off. There was also what I can only describe as a toxic smell coming off them when on the hob. I contacted the company and told me to return to get a refund. I did that but felt I shouldn’t have to pay £6 for p&p as they were clearly faulty. They said they do not refund p&p which I think is very bad for this situation. Maybe mine was just a bad example but just felt I needed to warn others.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 January 2019Not greatNice looking set that distributes heat well in use, but that's all the good news. I was fairly warned that this set would be tricky to keep looking so pretty. I tried really hard but after just 2 weeks 1 of the pans had turned a yellow-ish green. Why? Simply because I left it soaking in the sink too long. I became scared to even touch them after that. Didn't enjoy cooking with this set at all afterwards. On another 2 pans the handles kept coming loose. No way will these last for years to come so they are now used for spare and I replaced them with a more expensive set from a different seller.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 May 2018Not Induction Hob Compatible!!These pots are incorrectly being sold as being suitable for induction hobs. I have Gaggenau cooktop/hob. When I put one pot on ring it works, as soon as I put second pot on another ring, the first one stops heating! I had Gaggenau engineer visit who confirmed the cooktop working perfectly. It was the pots that were the problem. I have since purchased new induction compatible pots from John Lewis which work just fine. Suspect the problem is down to the fact that not the entire base of the cermalon pot is actually induction compatible. The pots looks lovely....that about all that's going for them.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 December 2020Poor PurchaseMy husband spent 3 days soaking the pan but bits of food still would not come off. This product is not non stick. It’s super sticky
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 September 2018Attractive set but information needs to be better presentedThey are very attractive pots and pans. I am happy with the sizes. However, I find that they are not as non-stick as a phantom pan I already own. I did not season the phantom pan but fried an omelette in olive oil first time. The information for the Cermalon advised seasoning. I did so with olive oil then read further down that olive oil and butter should not be used for cooking as it creates a carbon film that reduces the pans' non-stick properties.......
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 April 2019What’s wrong with these pans?I’m not quite sure just what’s going on with these pans, the first one didn’t work at all,and was informed by someone who’s had an induction Hobn quite a while that the pan was too small? This did seem to be the case as all the bigger ones did work.Unfortunatly this was only the first problem, I’ve only used them a few times, and the frying pan only once before this,we’ll last night my son fried some chunky fish fingers,he put a little oil in the pan and it wasn’t until he came to washing the pan that he realised that the bottom of the pan is burnt and it won’t come off,he used one of those little sponges but not the green rough side, any surgestions please.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 November 2017And you will be pleased. So far 5starsFollow the instructions regarding the seasoning your pots and pans. And you will be pleased. So far 5stars.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 January 2021Brilliant!I absolutely love this set! Good quality, good variety of pots and pans, clean up really well and good value for money considering what they are. Really happy with my purchase!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 November 2017Love themWow better than i though do not stick at all
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 September 2020Lovely as long as you don’t want to use for an induction hobThe pans are lovely to use and clean but two will not induct. I got a replacement set and had exactly the same issue. I bought these solely to have a set of induction pans and so they are worse than useless to me. So....in summary, great if you dont want to sue them for induction - if you want to use for induction you need something else.
