HELLO CLEAN AIR: Boasting a Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) of 315 m3/hr and a coverage area up to 40m2, the Sqair can clean a 12m2 average-sized bedroom in just 5 minutes on high speed. The Sqair has unique, aerodynamically designed fan blades provide 360° air circulation

SLEEK DESIGN: In a nod to mid-20th century Scandinavian design, the Sqair has a curved, matte white, casing and legs made from sustainable beech wood. The benefits of wooden legs are not just in the aesthetics, they also serve to reduce noise and vibrations

PURIFY YOUR AIR: The Sqair’s extra thick HEPA filter has a huge surface area of 1.5m2 when open, the equivalent to 22 x A4 sheets. The Sqair (Chemical Warfare) purifier also has an Activated Charcoal filter which protects you from harmful gases like formaldehyde and VOCs (volatile organic compounds). Our charcoal filter contains 140g of granulated activated charcoal

COST-EFFECTIVE CLEAN AIR: When pitched against The Telegraph Top UK Air Purifiers 2020, the Sqair gives you the most clean air for your money, is the quietest, uses the least electricity and is, of course, the cheapest!

EASY TO USE ROOM AIR PURIFIER: The minimalist design features a simple 1 - 2 - 3 speed control for easy on-off. On low setting, the Sqair is whisper quiet and on high, it resembles rainfall or white noise to fall asleep to. The Sqair’s energy-efficient design runs at just 6W on low

The world doesn’t need another air purifier company that overcharges you for clean air with fancy marketing hype and unnecessary extras. If you stripped a purifier back to basics, a crazy powerful fan and a HEPA filter is all you need to breathe clean air, that’s it! The Sqair is the stylish sum of these two parts. Purifiers usually have a centrifugal fan as it’s simpler and easier to manufacture. With the strength of British engineering, a 7-blade axial fan was built into The Sqair to balance high airflow with low noise and less energy. The Sqair (Chemical Warfare) purifier includes an Activated Charcoal filter to capture odours and VOCs (eg formaldehyde and benzene). You will benefit from a charcoal filter if: you have recently repainted or renovated your home; you smoke or have other odours in your home; you live a heavily polluted area. Airbon is the UK distributor of The Sqair air purifier, manufactured by Smart Air Filters. A social enterprise and certified B Corp, Smart Air reinvests 100% of profits into helping people protect themselves from the harms of air pollution. They do this through education, distributing cost-effective purifiers, and by advocating transparency in the purifier industry. Your purchase includes 1 Sqair air purifier, 1 HEPA filter, 1 charcoal filter, 1 cable (UK plug) and 1 manual. 1-year warranty.

  • How often do you change the filter? Does the door need to be shut for Sqair to do its job properly? Thanks :)

Our HEPA filter lasts for 1400 hours on top speed. This means if you run it for 8 hours on top speed, it will last 6 months. If you run it on medium or low, it will last longer. The carbon filter is a little harder to define as it really depends how many toxins it is adsorbing and everyone's situation is different. If you have a lot of new furniture, paint or live near wood-burning neighbours or a busy road, you will have a lot more Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) in the air. Ball park figure tends to be 6 months but this is hugely variable. Have a read of this on the Smart Air site for one way to tell when the carbon filter needs changing: smartairfilters.com/learn/smart-air-knowledge-base/how-know-change-carbon-filter/ Air purifiers work best with windows and doors closed but we know this isn't always possible so Smart Air ran some tests on another model and found that the difference in particulate reduction went from 90% to 60%. Bottom line is that it will still reduce indoor pollution with the windows open :). The full article can be read here: smartairfilters.com/en/blog/do-air-purifiers-work-window-open/ see less
