  A breath of fresh air!

  This item arrived safe and well packaged.This is a serious air purifier. It is ample size to operate in a large room. I have set this up in my dining room where I often work from home, whilst my boy is also home schooling. We have lots of equipment running and plenty of man-made stuff in the room.It's surprising how many particles are floating through the air... This clever and quiet device removes them!I've been using this since it arrived and I am so pleased with the feeling in the room. I always worry about what exactly I am breathing in, and more so, my boy. This gadget seems to be working nicely, with clean, fresh air in my home every day!It plugs into a wall socket and works away silently, giving me huge confidence in what this can do.I highly recommend this product!

  This air purifier appears well made if a bit plasticky, it's very quiet in sleep mode and fan speed 1, 2 and 3 are pretty noisy. The unit appeared good value as it came with a £30 voucher at the Amazon checkout. Unfortunately I was dismayed to find that the replacement filter cartridges are unobtainable, and the Amazon listing for the filter states they do not know if or when they will be available, meaning the unit will have a limited life before it is unusable,I tried emailing the manufacturer about filter replacement and didn't get a response which was very disappointing. Because of this I have returned the purifier for a refund and will buy an alternative for which filter replacements are available.

  It's too early to talk about its durability. I will update my comment due course.I would also like to point out that I don't suffer from an allergic reaction to pollen, dust, pet dander, etc.The main reason why I got an air purifier like this one was mainly due to the fact that I spent 2-4 hours in front of my PCs at home, studying, working and entertainment, and more hours during weekends. I do take long breaks too and stay in shape.After a few hours in from of my PCs, I was experiencing headaches, caused not by eye strain (properly calibrated and adjusted monitors), but because of the quality of air in my living room affected by the running electronics like screens and my both PCs. They tend to generate this kind of plasticky, stuffy, non-ventilated server room like smell. Some people will know what I am talking about.The air circulation in many apartments is restricted due to the positioning of windows in the living room and bedroom on the same side of the building wall.Long story short, I chose this unit due to its simplicity and positive reviews, and I have to say I am not disappointed!My assumption that it's going to work and help me feel better checked out! The air feels fresher, and my sensitive to the quality of air brain is not suffering like it used to.At the beginning of each session, I run the unit at the highest setting (it does push a lot of air through the filter!) to get as much filtered air as possible before I turn it down to S-mode when it's time to start working on some projects. It is very quiet at the lowest setting. I can hear it but the soft white noise it produces does not disturb me at all.If the quality/durability of this air purifier is not going to let me down, I will purchase another one for my bedroom too.EOM

  Fairly decent air purifier

  Recently with everyone switching to working indoors, I've felt like the air quality has taken a turn for the worse.Especially for me as I have asthma, and it's often triggered by small particles like dust and pollen, etc.As I've been working at home, and like many of others, I've had to buy more equipment to work from home, stuff that I had access to at work but now can't get to. But with all that, it brings along all the small particles and dust that seem to trigger my asthma.So that's why I've needed to buy an air purifier.Functionally, I think it's been working as I haven't resorted to using my inhaler as often. Obviously, there's no way for me to scientifically test this, as I don't have the equipment, but I think that the air quality in my to has improved. I definitely feel like it's better even if it only placebo.Now in terms of noise, it's loud when the fans on full speed, but when it's on the second or first setting it's pretty quiet. Actually, I think the sleep and first setting are about the same in terms of sound levels.Other stuff that comes with I to guess, is the timer, which has a 1hr, 2hr, all the way to 8hr timer. I really only use the 1hr and the 8hr timer as I can have it running on short bursts with the 1hr, and then sort of as an alarm for the 8 hrs. Albeit, one thing that I wish was available, is to actually turn off the LEDs on sleep mode. The LEDs stay on as far as I'm aware, and I don't really like having residual light in my room, so that's one thing that they could improve on.Other things to mention are that it is an activated carbon filter, so I believe that will help with filtering out more particles and it comes with only 1 filter (so no replacement, unfortunately).Overall, I'd say it's a decent air purifier and it's done a good job helping reduce my asthma triggers.

  Air purifier works great

  This purifier is simply amazing.I was a little bit sceptical at first but now I can say that it definitely does its job. This really clears the air fast and you feel the fresh air in a couple of hours. It cools the room specifically if it’s a small room.It is high tech and sleek looking device. It was bigger than what I expected but would blend right into any modern decor. It’s simple to use and with numerical indicators, there’s no misunderstanding it. Whilst in operation the air purifier is really quiet and you do not even know it is on when set on the lower settings. It can be slightly loud when it is working on higher fan levels.You can really tell a difference when you have got it on, the air feels a lot fresher. I really am in love with this purifier and would recommend it.

  Quiet yet effective

  We've become recent converts to the magic of air purifiers - in our case it was building work on our house including a full electric re-wire which has left dust everywhere even now, months after the event. It wasn't until we got our first air purifier, and subsequently changed the filter to discover just how much dust and other rubbish we had been breathing in, it was was a bit of a wake-up call. Since then we've become converted to them, with one in our kitchen and our bedroom and now this one is in our living room.It's a fairly big unit and can cover up to 25m2, so that's plenty big enough for our needs. It's a fairly hefty size but despite being a bit plasticy looking it's a solid and well built unit. Operation is very simple - there's four buttons on the top panel which are filer, speed, timer and power. The filter button will flash when it needs changing, the speed button switches between the 3 speeds and sleep mode, the timer button switched between 1/2/4/8 hours and the power button is obvious.We noticed a difference within a day or two of using it - the air certainly feels cleaner and it does a great job of neutralising smells etc. It's quiet enough on the lowest speed that you could easily have it in a bedroom at night and it means we can leave in in operation with the TV on etc. Unlike some there's no indication of air quality in the room on it, but then this was significantly cheaper than the other one I have with that feature.If you need a simple to use purifier that's quiet enough to keep running in a bedroom at night then this fits the bill perfectly.

  Perfect just read manual before use.

  Nice mid big size air purifier which ideal for big mid house use.Just make sure to read the manual, I have turned it in and it was making laud noice, after choking around found that I did not removed cover around the filter. It stated in manual how to remove and set up. Once packaging around filter removed it was quite.On top it had control panel which slime and touch sensitive. Slight touch activates the panel, no need to hard pushing.On night mode it becomes extra quite doesn’t interrupt or disturb sleep.Overall great quality powerful air filter , on max speed it’s fast and in night mode its slow but very quite. Just remember to remove bag around the filter before switching filter on.

  Clear Air in My Home

  I recently moved house and the new property had a very stuffy, unventilated ambience. This purifier was recommended by a friend and has done an amazing job at helping the air in my home to feel a lot healthier to breath. It definitely works well! It clears the air, and does it virtually silently and very efficiently. As well as working well, the purifier looks very high tech, with LED digitals to match. This makes using it very easy. Again, it's almost silent on lower settings, but I do hear it when on higher settings. Still, it works exactly as I want it to. It's not a small device, but its size does not prevent it from blending into my home. It was recommended to me and would happily do the same.

  Quality and quite

  It’s a life save!! I bought it to help with my hey fever and it really helps. At the night I put it by the bedside and turn the silent mode on which really doesn’t make any noise. Also the power 1 doesn’t make a sound either but from power 2 you can def hear the engine running. I move it to the living room where I spend most of the time during the day but now I’m thinking of getting another one so I don’t have to move it around. It’s actually quite easy to set up and use, I don’t have much to say about it. The small suggestion from me is to have handles or something to help with moving because of both sides are too smooth that when I try to carry it it’s a bit difficult.

  Brilliant air purifier

  For a sub hundred pound air purifying unit it performs very well. On low setting it is literally unheard-able. The air comes out seems to be fresh and odorless and that is exactly what I wanted. There is not much control just speed and a timer. Simple but effective. Changing the filter is a child play. Overall it is a nice little unit that I don’t mind put it next to my bed or in a TV movie room all day everyday. Love that simplicity . no Bluetooth WiFi smart something rubbish gimmicks. See how long the filter last but as with all filter it is depending the surrounding area.
