This simply gorgeous designer dining set has just been fully professionally finished by our expert team at Elite. F&B Hague Blue colour description: A deep dark blue This strong blue takes its name from the fantastically coloured woodwork much used by the Dutch, and still works wonderfully to ground skirtings or as an accent colour on the walls when teamed with Borrowed Light. The green undertones of this timeless, deep and dramatic blue means it sits as happily outside as it does in small dark rooms. The stunning rectangular shaped solid Oak table has just been fully professionally French polished using only the very finest products & modern table top French polish. To give it that totally unique opulent look and finish that only French polish can truly give. It has been finished in a natural colour to show off the beautiful solid Oak. The table comes with two additional table leaves that are stored underneath the main table top. You only need to pull these out to significantly increase the tables size. The table tops sit on a lovely and very substantial solid Oak base, with 4 turned pilar legs to support. The tables base has been finished in the very stylish colour from the world famous Farrow & Ball number 30 Hague Blue colour. It has been finished in this exact colour. The finish: Point of note on the finish of the table base and the chairs. This is not just a weak commonly unprofessional painted finish. This is a professionally finished modern environmentally safe AC two pack lacquer finish on the table base and the chairs. This is the very strongest finish that can be applied to furniture safely which only true professionals can carry out. Please be aware of simply just “painted finishes” straight from a paint pot without the correct application methods. These will not have the durability required for furniture especially on table bases and dining chairs and will simply flake, damage & wear very easily. It must be a finish like this for a paint Farrow & Ball colour, as the table base & chairs will no doubt face heavy wear & use over time. Using only this method of finish on these areas and items will insure it keeps its stunning looks and colour for many years to come. Modern table top French polish is the best finish to be used on table tops for both look and durability. Just using cheap oils on table tops is no where near sufficient to protect the top and wood. With just this such finish being used you will invariably face significant imperfections and issues imminently. At Elite, we often have clients contacting us to repair and restore such oil finished table tops as they are very vulnerable to a very wide range of causes of damage. Set of 8 solid Oak Farrow and Ball Hague Blue & cream Dining chairs. These dining chairs have been professionally finished in the gorgeous Hague Blue FB colour and match the table perfectly. These chairs are very substantial, heavy and also most importantly are very comfortable too. The chair fabric is the existing fabric which is in very good condition. But, it is not brand new. There is only one chair that does have a few dirty marks on the fabric, that could possibly be cleaned out. This is shown in some of the photos. But there is no need to change the fabric apart from that, unless specifically required, to which we could do this at additional costs to reupholster and refinish. But it was felt that there was no real need to change the fabric on this lovely stunning set, as this would add very substantial costs to the set as a whole to which we felt were unnecessary.
