• Is it real wood ?
  Sort of ply wood I’d say ! it is very nice and the quality is good

• Does it require an electric drill?
  That depends on where you're putting it. It is affixed to the wall with rawl plugs and screws so you will need to make the holes for this, which would generally be done using an electric drill.

• How heavy is the metal frame ? Will it mount to a board wall ?
  Not very heavy at all should be fine

• Is this Matt black?
  Yes it's smooth matt black. I'm very pleased with it.
