• Is the dimmest setting dim enough for use in a theater tech booth?
  Very specialized knowledge and you're not likely to find that here. The lowest setting with lowest light setting is pretty low, but I'm not sure it would hit that level. I've seen lights backstage that were pretty bright when back there. I'd say it was possible thought.   Umm I own this and I'm gonna say ... no? How do you think it would work without being plugged in? The answer is NO, particularly since it's designed to charge a phone - which it does well. In fact, this phone does EVERYTHING well. It is bright, it really can go from warm to cool light easily and bright to dim. The neck can be twisted ALL around and it charges a phone well. But no: it has NO place for batteries and yes it must be plugged in to work. see less
