- How long do batteries last?It depends how long you keep the lamp lit for and how often you use the lamp. I light my lamp almost every evening and it would be lit for up to 6/7 hours at any one time. I forgot to switch it off one night before going to bed and when I got up the next morning it was still lit! I light my lamp almost every evening and it would be lit for up to 6/7 hours at any one time. I forgot to switch it off one night before going to bed and when I got up the next morning it was still lit! If you use good batteries, you might get 3/4 days, perhaps a little longer. The light does dull as the batteries go done, but as it only uses 2 batteries at a time, it's not too bad. I love my lamp and would still highly recommend its purchase. I think the battery issue does depend on how much use the lamp gets. see less
