One end you connect the hot water pipe, and other end you connect the cold water pipe. … see more Yes and no. No because as with all mixer taps you have a hot and cold pipes which you need to connect to it. One end you connect the hot water pipe, and other end you connect the cold water pipe. Cold water will be of course linked to your mains right, so based on this it is a No. However, and I don't know this as I don't have one, but you could try connect the pipe directly from your filter machine so that you have filtered water. But thing with filtered water is you only want to turn it in to drink, not use filtered water washing dishes or your hands etc. To put in perspective, I have a water softener so my cold water tap is connected via this.
