The tap body now fixes on using an improved grub screw mechanism in order to avoid any potential fixing issues when installed., meaning that the base no longer has a front / back orientation, so it doesn't matter which way round the base is fixed … see more Hi, The Easyfit system is now on it's 3rd version since launch in 2012. The tap body now fixes on using an improved grub screw mechanism in order to avoid any potential fixing issues when installed., meaning that the base no longer has a front / back orientation, so it doesn't matter which way round the base is fixed when the tap is pushed on. - Is it possible to attach a spray rotating nozzle to this tapYes you can. The nozzle unscrews. I bought two of these taps and one nozzle wouldn't come loose and was in the process of returning it but tried the other one and it unscrewed easily. Went back to the first tap and applied a little more force and it came off too.
- Does the spout swivel on this tap?Yes, it does swivel but in our case, due to the flexing of the stainless steel sink, it needs two hands to steady the tap itself when swiveling. Also, as we used the swivel quite a lot and the seal (an O Ring) where the spout enters the body wore quite quickly and started to leak. - Will it fit through a 50mm thick timber worktop? Can it 'thread' through the hole from the top?Hi, the EC SNK EF C is supplied with our unique Easyfit system, allowing the tap fixing to be secured from above the work surface.
