    The knife comes in a cardboard presentation type box with dense foam cut outs. There is no other sheath or form of protection.

The blade itself has a Tsunami Rose mirrored Damascus pattern and really does look stunning.After heat treatment the blade is Cryogenically cooled making the knife even more resistant to staining and rust, and the resulting Rockwell Hardness is HRC 61.The knife is sharpened to around 12-degrees per side for maximum sharpness and also outstanding edge retention.We used these Japanese materials (which are one of the best on the market for high end kitchen knives) so you can have razor sharpness with outstanding edge retention, but also get the benefits of rust and stain resistance.The handle uses a military grade G10 material which has outstanding mechanical properties including fantastic heat, cold, moisture and impact resistance and also has great wear resistance properties. It has a classical 3-rivet design with the center one being a 3-metal (brass, copper and stainless steel) Japanese Mosaic rivet.
