Cleaning instructions:
Clean your cookware with hot water, liquid detergent and a soft sponge. Do not use scouring milk, steel wool or scouring pads.
With cookware that is enamelled on the outside, discolouration of the enamelling is normal due to cleaning in the dishwasher.
In the case of hard-anodized cookware on the outside, an additional coating is applied to protect the outside of the cookware from damage caused by washing in the dishwasher. In order to maintain this protective layer, the cookware must not be cleaned with a scouring pad when rinsed by hand. If this should happen anyway, Tefal recommends that you only wash the cookware by hand, as the coating could be damaged.
ATTENTION: cleaning in the dishwasher
Various detergents have ingredients that can impair the non-stick properties and enamel fading of the cookware, especially with aluminum cookware.
When used in the oven:
Tefal cookware with handles made of stainless steel, with / without silicone insert is ovenproof up to 260 ° C.
Tefal cookware with handles made of thermoplastic is ovenproof up to 180 ° C.
In order to avoid burns, the use of oven gloves is recommended, both when used on the stove and when removing them from the oven.
Tefal cookware cannot be used in the microwave.
Beware of children in the kitchen!
Never let pan and pot handles protrude beyond the edge of the stove. Always keep hot pans and pots out of the reach of children. If possible, use a lid while cooking to prevent injuries from e.g. To prevent fat splashes. "

- Can you use this in the oven?I have not used it in the oven yet but yes it can be used for oven cooking.
- What oven temp is this safe upto?I have only used it up to 180 Also make sure you use no metal spoons as it can scratch eventually, otherwise very pleased.
- Can I use this to fry food, ie instead of buying a separate frying pan?I wouldn't. Is stainless inside, frying pans usually have a non stick finish inside. Also a bit deep for use as a frying pan. I sauté veg in it and use it to brown meat before making stews. The pot could be used for deep fat frying small amounts. Is a good quality pot which cleans up well especially in the dishwasher.
