Customer questions and answers
- Are the rivets steel or aluminium? Ive had issues with tefal pans with aluminium rivets which are not dishwasher proof.Rivets, like the main body of the pans are stainless steel too. Mine are in the dishwasher daily (including the frying pan) and have proven safe so far.
- Are the handles riveted on ? (Many saucepans have rivets on the inside of the pan, I prefer a clean finish.)Yes they are riveted on the inside All the best quality pans are The cheap ones have welded brackets thats why the come lose on the handles after a short time of use
- Do these pans have a lifetime guarantee?They only have a 5 year guarantee.
- What is the non stick coating? Is there any aluminium or Teflon?The saucepans are stainless steel with no coating but frying pan is Teflon coated. I hope that helps. The stainless steel is a higher iron content so they work on induction hobs: that's why we bought them as the old ones would not heat on the new induction hob due to not being magnetic metal due to the high chromium content.
