SMART TECHNOLOGY: Open Window Detection saves costs by detecting a rapid drop in temperature and automatically switching off the electric fires flame effect. With the adjustable weekly timer, independent heating times can be programmed for each day.
COMFORTABLE OPERATION: The operation of the device is simple: in addition to the switches on the unit, the fire surround with electric fire can be easily controlled with the remote. The matte black and the concealed switches add to the overall look.

- How do you have the fire on constantly but just controlled by thermostat?We just use it as required.
- Just trying to clarify what this fire is made from is there any plastic on it and does it feel authentic?It doesn’t feel plasticky but not sure what it’s made of. It does a good job of chucking out the heat and the flame effect is good. We have a lovely wood burner in another room and the Bormio makes our ‘snug’ feel nice and snug!!
- What materials is this made ofI did not like the design of this so I returned it. Materials wise it was not as sturdy as the Dimplex one I bought instead.
- Is it costly to runCheap as chips to run and very quiet :-)
