3. To meet the requirements of Eco design 2018 (Lot20), this product is designed and manufactured to produce the optimum energy efficiency available for space heaters.

The digital remote control includes a 7 day programmer, thermostat with display, room temperature sensing in the remote control, open window detection and adaptive start control (Turns on the heater to warm the room ready for the programmed start time). The remote control will automatically turn the fire on & off and between 1 & 2kW as the room temperature requires, 5 level brightness flame effect and 5 level brightness on the 13 colour mood lighting. (2xAAA batteries included.)

Multi-functional Remote Control
The Endeavour electric fireplaces come with a digital LCD display remote control which allows you to create a warm and comfortable ambiance from the comfort of your sofa.
The heater automatically switches between 1 and 2kW depending on the room temperature and set temperature required and can be used with or without the LED lighting.
You can adjust the flame effect and the mood lighting to suit the time of day or the circumstances. Due to the LED technology, our fireplaces are low cost to run when using these two essential features – less than 5 pounds per year if used for up to 5 hours per day.

- Are the logs a picture on the glass or are they a 3d log shape with lighting underneath?They are plastic and look so false. They stand out in front of the flame and look ridiculous. I can’t tell you how disappointed I am with this fire and I can’t return it as we had to cut off the plug to install and not in Prime.

- where exactly does the heat come from , and is it really good enough to heat a 16 foot roonThe heat comes out from underneath the heater so you will want to mount it a foot or so from the floor or even higher. 2kw should be ample for a 5m x 3m x 2.3m high room with a couple of windows. The fan on low speed is audible but that should not intrude too much if you have the TV or radio on or you are in conversation. I think the heater is very good value for money and looks good in my newly refurbed lounge, though I don't rely on it as my primary source of heat as I have a central heating system.
