Customer questions and answers
- Is this made in China?Yes, the label says made in PRC (Peoples Republic of China)
- Does this radiator have a programable 24 hr timer?Yes it has 24 hour timer. 4 sets of time span you can set for 24 hours. It has a clock. I set my time 5-9pm 10pm-3am 4-9am and 10pm-10pm.
- Hi, can anyone tell me how long it gives off heat after it has been turned off?Difficult question to answer exactly, although I've not actually timed it, from being full on (too hot to touch) to being same temperature as the room I would estimate to be 45 mins give or take 15 mins.
- Does this heater have an energy efficiency rating? All electric heaters are 100% energy efficient, in the sense that all electricity used is turned into energy, which heats the air or objects (or walls), in the room. Three ways to save money on electric heating use: 1/ good insulation 2/ If you don't need to heat the whole room but only yourself use a radiating bar type heater directed at yourself. 3/ Don't have the heater on more than necessary (or turn it lower). The word 'radiator' when applied to oil-filled devices is misleading - mostly they give rising hot air (convection), so they will tend to heat the air in the room. They do radiate, but not as much as a bar heater. That's fine if it's what you want, but more expensive than heating just yourself with a bar type heater, as I have said above. see less
