  All fan convectors emit some noise and I am not sure if any specify noise level readings. This is a fairly cheap one but it does have two fan speed settings. On the low setting I don't think the noise is objectionable. Certainly you could have a quiet conversation very close to it without really noticing. But in a silent room, you can definitely hear it. On the boost setting, there is much more noise but not enough, in my view, to be objectionable if you are working in the kitchen. You might find the boost noise a bit intrusive during a quiet conversation though. Of course the fan only runs when the central heating pipes are hot. see less
