- Most importantly , is it effective for dust mite dust??Yes it will filter out dust in the air, mite dust being larger than pollen or smoke should get trapped by the filter quite easily. Hope this helps answer your question.
- Will it stop dust build-up in roomsMy bedroom still gets very dusty but I only run the HoMedics HEPA Professional Air Purifier on its lowest setting during the night. Maybe if you ran it on its highest setting for an hour or two each day you might stop dust build up.

- all other websites say AR10 clears 99% of airborne except this seller. Was it a mistake or did the seller replace the filter on these pieces?It does say, look at the 4th picture along, it says 99.97%
