- What is the drain hose for and where would you get one from? It says not supplied. Thanks.The drain hose is for draining the water tank in the. Unit .put machine by and out side door connect hose and drain , or if no hose tilt the unit and drain water
- Not cooling room at all. In fact room getting hotter. Have read instruction manual and seem to be doing everything correct. Can anyone help please?Mine works . Important to get exhaust outside the house which I am sure you have done . It also depends on the size of the room I bought the size specific to cool a bedroom of my size
- Do you need the window vent if using dehumidifier only?No, it dose not need to use the window vent.
- If I install a 10m long hose will there be an issue? In performance or life of a machine?It will definitely affect the performance significantly. The hose should be as short as possible. The hose itself becomes warm during the operation which heats up the room as well as it will be a bigger load on the ac to push away the hot air for long distance.
