- Does the parasol tilt so that you can be protected from the sun at all angles?Slightly. The umbrella hits the pole if you try any more than a 20 degree angle and gets squashed
- Do it need to buy the base wieghts or are they included in the price? Dosnt show them in the pictures.It has a cross gram at base with holes for tent pegs but it’s such a big thing that the slightest wind affects it. I’ve put large rocks on the frame

- What base should I buy for this parasol?I didn't buy a base as the parasol was going to be situated on a stone chipped area. What I did was rake back the chips in the area and dig out the area required ensuring that it was level and the base when placed was perpendicular . What I did was rake back the chips in the area and dig out the area required ensuring that it was level and the base when placed was perpendicular . I had previously made large U brackets from 12mm steel rod ( 3 ) which were hammered over the 3 legs of the base. The length of the U brackets was 500mm. The chips were raked back over, job done. Before starting the T base was painted with a suitable bitumastic paint. see less
