AIR VENT TO MAXIMISE AIR FLOW: The canopy is made from thick 180g polyester for enhanced durability. An air vent at the top helps to reduce wind pressure to prevent the wind pulling the parasol upwards. It also aids air flow to reduce the temperature beneath the parasol and keep you cool when you're relaxing beneath it.
CRANK HANDLE TO EASILY OPEN & CLOSE: Instead of a fiddly pulley system, the parasol has a crank handle to easily raise and lower the canopy. Simply turn the handle one way to open the canopy or crank it the other way to close it. The handle is made from powder-coated steel for a stylish, premium look and high-quality feel.
DURABLE 38mm DIAMETER STEEL POLE: The parasol pole and ribs are made from powder-coated steel which is heavier than aluminium for superior strength, stability and wind-resistance. The pole has a 38mm diameter and comes in two parts which lock together. Instructions are included to easily assemble and care for the parasol.
IMPORTANT PRODUCT INFORMATION: A parasol base is NOT INCLUDED with the parasol and is essential for safeguarding it from the wind. Christow stock a range of compatible bases. Choose an 11kg base if you wish to use the parasol with a garden table, or a 25kg base if you wish to use the parasol without a table.

- does come whit the base ?No it doesn't come with a base and check carefully if you buy a separate base as the stem is wider than your average garden umbrella.
- Does it collapse for storage?Yes, you can wind the canopy down and remove the bottom half of the pole if necessary
- What is your return policy?Try asking the supplier not another customer!!!
- Why does it say it tilts? When p hendry says it doesn’t?No idea but mine doesn’t. You get what you pay for. This is very cheap, light weight, plastic BUT it’s serviceable and the crank works fine.
