The moulding is carved wood and measures 2" wide. The mirror is plain and the frame has mdf backing board. The size shown is the overall size and can be hung portrait or landscape style and is supplied with the hangers.

These you use to mount the mirror. They are pretty clear which goes into the wall and which the mirror hangs from. They are no wall plugs supplied and you will need them. - What is the frame made from?It appears to be made of either wood with plaster type mouldings or entirely plaster but it certainly looks good quality and is quite heavy. Hope this helps.
